Nottingham is a great City. Some of our UK readers may well have heard of the troubles we’ve had and the old gun crime stories but all in all the City is a stunning place to live. Away from the stories of 10 women to every 1 man, (some bloke must have a warehouse full of women!) the late great Brian Clough and every Nottingham residents favourite son, Robin Hood we have an amazing underground street art and graffiti scene awash with characters young and old.
Last year we lost a long time legal graffiti spot (In A State covered it here) down at the Arches and now the local Council are trying to close the longest running “Hall of Fame” here in Nottingham, Russells Youth Club.
Now we have all heard the legal spot arguments but Russells has been a great venue and has been the host of some amazing pieces of art.

Having spoken to Rachael who runs the Russells Youth Club it is evident they are doing everything in their power to keep the Hall of Fame and have a safe legal spot for graffiti artists to work in.
