Notts Property. The free Street Art and Graffiti event throughout August in venues in and around Nottingham expanded into it’s second weekend with an amazingly well run live draw on various shop windows in the main shopping area of Hockley in the Nottingham City Centre.
Hockley is renown for its cool factor which has always been personified by its bars, clothes shops and more recently with the independent, diverse shops including a host of famous and infamous shops such as Ice Nine, Danielle Gotheridge’s Unique Cake Shop and of course, Montana run by In A State Blog favourite and Nottingham legend, Dilk.
Again Notts Property delivered a well run (thanks to the amazingly well thought out preparation by Sylvia from Montana), well attended live draw which not only attracted an ever growing Notts Property fan base but fascinated shoppers and general public who all stopped to look and chat with the artists on display.
For more info on Notts Property, see the facebook page.
This event was arranged in conjunction with Subism and Montana Shop Nottingham.

Massive thanks to all the artists and the Notts Property Crew for making this event a stormer.
In A State would also like to thank Tahirah Peti Shah for the kind use of the pics of the walls from Onga, Ripe and Zem as divvy here had planned on a return trip for finished pics the next day, completely forgetting the boards would be removed……
Where to start!
Notts Property, it just worked. From the very first pink based, vague posters, event invites, to the announcements, Flyers, details, line ups right up to the first event at Hopkinson Vintage Antiques on Station Street here in Nottingham.
I cant express in words the whole vibe this first event had, it smacked you in the face as soon as you walked up.
And the art… The art, wow. The pink walls. The DJ booth/vehicle. The crowd.
Bah, I’ve got to give up typing, just enjoy the pics.

Before the new year, O-Two worked with James Greenhow at Realise Creative on the Hidden Art Project for the New Clapham campaign.
“I spent a day on the ninth floor of the new development, getting busy on the raw concrete. Safety regulations meant I was forced to appear on film as one of the Village People, but it was a small price to pay for the opportunity to paint a unique location, with a really nice concept behind it all.”
